Basuki Predicts 2015 Unused Budget Reaches Rp 7 T

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama predicts that the amount of 2015 unused funds (Silpa) reached Rp 7 trillion from total of City Budget (APBD) as much as Rp 69.28 trillion. It is lower than last year, which was Rp 8.7 trillion.

"Silpa is lower than last year, which is only Rp 7 trillion," said Basuki, after attending plenary meeting about note of finance and 2016 Draft APBD (RAPBD), at Jakarta City Council (DPRD), Saturday (12/19).
He was believe that the next year's budget absorption could hit Rp 90 percent, except there is additional income and budget savings.
Silpa Predicted to Reach Rp 30 T"I believe the budget will hit 90 percent next year," he predicted.
He cited, the project budget by Rp 3 billion has been allocated to Friendly-Children Integrated Public Space (RPTRA). Whereas, in its work, only needs less than Rp 1 billion.
"If there is a tender from Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), we can save, but its results can be used for APBD amendment for purchasing bus. Each savings is used for bus purchase," he said.
